I think it was Karen's boyfriend Bill's home, whose daughter Mia ripped off Hank's novel, "***ing and Punching." I could be wrong; it's been a while since I've watched it. Whatever you think about the show, the houses/sets were amazing. This is the McKinley House designed by architect David Hertz and a slideshow of this house (and others) can be seen here.
