Windows In!!!!

Now, it's getting exciting!!! The windows got installed today!

This is the little alcove at the front of the house on the 2nd floor. It will serve as a study area for Elizabeth. Love these windows by Golden!

We saw them here....

And fell in love.
Windows: check!

And nor for brick to go with the stone. Still hunting. Found these two today:

 Our stone...

I kinda like this last brick. Has an olde worlde look to it. Can't wait to pick out bathtubs. This exterior stuff is way too stressful!

Townhouse quickie

We moved into a cute....back up....we squished into a cute townhouse close to town last June, a couple weeks before the house came down (see previous posts). We did what I call a lipstick job on the town house to update it and make it ours for a while. We hope to rent it when we move out (hopefully next April). In the next few days, I'll cover the before and after shots of the townhouse. Unfortunately, I don't have a flash on my iPhone and the black granite sucks in all the light. It actually looks a lot brighter. :)

Which combo???

HELP!
For some things, you need to do the National (International) Survey...

Which combo do you like? The windows are Golden Windows Sable Brown. The Stone is Rolling Rock's Fox Blend. Lou wants to put stucco in the peaks but I'm more for Maibec shingles. Which do you think blends better: the sable shingles (1) or the cinnamon shingles (2)???

Decisions abound. And now which stone???
