Window Love...

...well, house love too! Another drive-by shooting:

Not sure how well you can see, but these window have horizontal mullions (only I'm sure they're not called mullions like this). In any case, these are the windows we're ordering for the new house, only off-white. I love the warm light from within. It makes this woodsy home look so inviting.

Home Sweet Hole!

Gone...

My basement! The antique jewellery safe in the middle weighs a few tons. We would need crane to remove it! The crew is fortifying the existing basement and then...

We had a lot of rain and hit a water table, but Lou knows how to solve this one as he has many times before at work.

Demolition begins!

Here's why I have been remiss at posting... we've moved into the townhouse (more on that later) and today, the demolition of our home began. Weird to see it reduced to rubble, but exciting too! Lou and I stopped by last night and found the digger (officially called a Volvo) with a bucket almost the size of me!!!
