Which combo???

HELP!
For some things, you need to do the National (International) Survey...

Which combo do you like? The windows are Golden Windows Sable Brown. The Stone is Rolling Rock's Fox Blend. Lou wants to put stucco in the peaks but I'm more for Maibec shingles. Which do you think blends better: the sable shingles (1) or the cinnamon shingles (2)???

Decisions abound. And now which stone???

Taking in the last of the summer and the building continues

As I was enjoying my vacation up north, taking in the sunsets...

...and long walks....

and country general stores and markets...

...my hubby was managing the building of our home...

 the forming crew

from the side, the old basement on the right, the addition on the left.

looking from the front at the old basement and walkway into the new.

But he did manage to get up for the Labour Day Weekend and play Captain to some pretty wild tubing!

You have to see the tour of Jen's home here. Truly inspiring! And I LOVE her walk-in closet:

I want one in white!!!! With lots of leopard print - snow leopard!

Window Love...

...well, house love too! Another drive-by shooting:

Not sure how well you can see, but these window have horizontal mullions (only I'm sure they're not called mullions like this). In any case, these are the windows we're ordering for the new house, only off-white. I love the warm light from within. It makes this woodsy home look so inviting.
Check out the basement window. Beautiful!
